Small Groups

At the River of Grace we believe that church is more than a gathering place on Sunday morning, but should be a living and growing community. We place a high priority on relationships with one another. Small groups provide an oppourtunity for believers to connect with others in a meaningful way as well as enable members to encourage each other towards greater spiritual growth.

Ladies' Groups:

Women's Prayer
Description: This women’s group meets every Friday from 12:00 -1:00p.m. for a time of prayer and fellowship
Time: Fridays 12:00 p.m.

Mens Groups:

Men’s Fraternity
Description: Small group based on the "Men's Fraternity" Curriculum. Over 24 weeks men will explore authentic manhood and challenge one another in their faith.
Time: The first 3 Sundays of each month following the morning service.

Mixed Groups

ISOM (Intenational School of Ministry)
Description: This is a DVD based bible school curriculum. Each class consists of a short time of prayer, watching a video session and discussion.

Prayer Fellowship Group
Description: This group's main focus is to gather together to encourage one another through prayer. Each week there will be a short devotional time/exhortation from the word, but the majority of the small group will be devoted to worship and prayer.

Small Group- Chaoyang District
Description: Small Group based on the Nooma DVD series. Dinner will be served followed by viewing a DVD session and discussion. (Open to everyone)

The Marriage Course
Description: A seven week course where couples spend time learning about how to build a healthy and great marriage. See here for more details.

Courageous Leadership
Description: This is a DVD series by John Maxwell’s Equip Ministry. Each week participants will watch a DVD lesson and participate in discussions concerning leadership. (Open to everyone) Time and location to be announced.

The Alpha Course
Alpha is a video series with discussion, where participants explore what Christians believe and why. It is great for those wanting to learn more about Christianity or for believers who would like to become more grounded in their faith. We have just completed the Alpha course and are looking to launch new groups later this fall.
